1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Xscn is an AI-powered document assistant that allows you to scan documents, extract text via OCR, and analyze document content using third-party AI services. The App provides features including document analysis, scam detection, translation, guided actions, document comparison, and organizational tools.
3. User Accounts and API Keys
- The App does not require account creation with us.
- Certain AI-powered features require you to provide your own API keys from third-party AI providers (DeepSeek, Google Gemini, OpenAI).
- You are responsible for obtaining, managing, and securing your own API keys.
- You are responsible for any costs incurred through the use of third-party AI services via your API keys.
- You must comply with the terms of service of each third-party AI provider whose services you use through the App.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- The App offers a free tier with limited AI analyses (5 analyses) and a paid "Xscn Pro" subscription.
- Xscn Pro is available as Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime purchase options.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.
- Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following the change.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Process documents that contain illegal content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or usage limits
- Use the App to process documents on behalf of others in a commercial service capacity without prior written consent
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The AI-powered features of the App (including document analysis, summaries, scam detection, guided actions, and reply drafts) are provided for informational purposes only. AI-generated content:
- May contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
- Does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional advice
- Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for important decisions
- Should be verified independently, especially for legal documents, contracts, and financial matters
We are not responsible for any actions taken based on AI-generated content.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding user-provided documents), is the intellectual property of Guvanch Amanov. You retain full ownership of your scanned documents and any content you provide to the App.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All document data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers or collect your personal data.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party AI services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our interests.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
