How do I set up AI analysis?
Go to Settings > API Keys and enter your API key from DeepSeek, Google Gemini, or OpenAI. You can get API keys from each provider's website. The app will use the available providers automatically.
How many free analyses do I get?
Free users get 5 AI analyses. After that, you can upgrade to Xscn Pro for unlimited analyses. Scanning and OCR text extraction are always free and unlimited.
Is my document data secure?
Yes. All documents are stored locally on your device. API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain. When you use AI features, document text is sent directly from your device to the AI provider — it never passes through our servers. We don't collect any analytics or personal data.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your device Settings > tap your name (Apple ID) > Subscriptions > find Xscn Pro > Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open Xscn > tap the upgrade banner or go to Settings > tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Which AI providers are supported?
Xscn supports DeepSeek, Google Gemini, and OpenAI. The app uses a smart fallback system — if one provider is unavailable, it automatically tries the next one.
How do I use the Share Extension?
Open any document or image in another app, tap the Share button, and select Xscn from the share sheet. If you don't see Xscn, scroll to "More" and enable it. The extension supports PDFs, images, Word documents, and URLs.
Can I change the app language?
Yes. Go to Settings > Language and select from 12 available languages. The language changes immediately without restarting the app.
How do I sync documents across devices?
Make sure iCloud is enabled on all your devices. Xscn automatically syncs your documents and vaults via iCloud. You can manage sync in Settings.
