Information You Provide
- API Keys: If you use AI-powered features, you provide your own API keys for third-party AI services (DeepSeek, Google Gemini, OpenAI). These keys are stored locally on your device in the iOS Keychain and are never transmitted to our servers.
- Document Content: Text extracted from scanned documents via OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
Information Collected Automatically
- No Analytics: We do not collect analytics data, usage statistics, or behavioral tracking information.
- No Advertising: The App does not display advertisements and does not collect data for advertising purposes.
- Crash Reports: If you opt in through Apple's standard settings, Apple may collect crash reports. We do not independently collect crash data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Document Analysis: Extracted text is sent to third-party AI providers (using your API keys) for analysis, summarization, translation, and other AI-powered features. This data is sent directly from your device to the AI provider — it never passes through our servers.
- Local Storage: Scanned documents, analysis results, and app settings are stored on your device and optionally synced via Apple iCloud to your other devices.
- Notifications: Local notifications are used to remind you about document deadlines and expiry dates. No push notification service or external server is involved.
3. Third-Party AI Services
When you use AI-powered features, your document text is sent directly from your device to the AI provider you have configured. Each provider has its own privacy policy:

- OpenAI: openai.com/privacy
We are not responsible for how these third-party providers handle your data. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing your API keys.
4. Data Storage and Security
- On-Device Storage: All document data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
- Keychain: API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain, Apple's secure credential storage system.
- iCloud Sync: If enabled, your documents sync across your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud/CloudKit service. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple.
- No External Servers: We do not operate servers. Your data is stored on your device and Apple's iCloud infrastructure only.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. Document text is only sent to AI providers when you actively use AI features, and only through your own API keys.
6. Data Retention
All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete any scanned document or vault at any time within the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. iCloud data can be managed through your Apple ID settings.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us.
8. Your Rights
Since all data is stored on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:
- View, edit, or delete any document or analysis within the App
- Remove API keys from the App at any time
- Disable iCloud sync in the App settings
- Uninstall the App to remove all local data
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
